Custom Built-Ins

Custom Built-Ins & Carpentry

White-oak libraries, banquettes, mudrooms, and wall systems that fit like they grew there.

A great built-in is the difference between owning a room and just decorating it. We design and build library walls, banquettes, mudrooms, home-office walls, and concealed doors — all in our own shop.

Is this the right project

Signs this is your project.

  • You have an awkward wall or nook that a piece of furniture can't solve
  • You need real storage that reads as architecture, not IKEA
  • You want a home-office wall with hidden equipment and better light
  • A mudroom or drop zone is on your list before the school year
  • You want a shop-built piece rather than field-built
Process

How your project unfolds.

  1. Step 01

    Measure and design

Hand-drawn sketches and a shop drawing set before any material is cut.

  2. Step 02

    Material and finish selection

White oak, walnut, painted poplar, and stone tops. Sample boards you can hold.

  3. Step 03

    Fixed-bid proposal

One number for design, shop time, delivery, and install.

  4. Step 04

    Shop build and install

Built in our shop over 3 to 6 weeks, installed on site in a few days with minimal dust.

  5. Step 05

    Walkthrough and warranty

    Two-year workmanship warranty in writing.

Questions we hear

Answers before you ask.

Yes. We profile match trim and stain match wood so the built-in reads as original.

Investment

Built-ins typically start around $9k for a bookcase run and scale into the mid five figures for full library walls. Every project starts with a design consultation and a written fixed-bid proposal with a detailed scope before any work is scheduled.
