Built to make renovations feel finished, not survived.
Elevate started as a two-person shop in East Nashville and grew, on referrals, into the studio it is today.
Cole started Elevate in 2011 after a decade of running someone else's crews. He was tired of watching good projects get bruised by bad process — vague quotes, allowance games, silent weeks. He believed a design-build shop could do the same work with the volume turned down and the trust turned up.
The first project was a kitchen in Inglewood. The second was a kitchen next door, because a neighbor walked over and asked who the truck belonged to. Fifteen years later, the neighbor thing is still the model — 92 percent of what we build is for a family a past client sent us.
Priya joined as design director in 2018 and brought interiors and architecture into the same conversation as framing and schedule. Marcus came on as senior project manager in 2020 and codified the Friday update text every client now expects. The three of them still walk every job the week before framing starts.
